In Britain, people in several cities took to the streets to voice support for Palestine and condemn the UK government’s backing for the Israeli regime.
School teachers, academics, health workers and laborers attended the rallies in cities like London, Manchester, and Glasgow.
In the city of Kent in southeast England, people blocked the road to Instro Precision Ltd, a company affiliated to Elbit Systems that provides the Zionist regime with military equipment.
In the United States, pro-Palestinian demonstrations were organized on Thursday and Friday in different cities, such as New York.
A demonstrator in New York said he attended the rally to voice support for Palestinians who have been persecuted for years.
Police said there were tensions during the demonstration but no arrests were made.
Calicut in India’s Kerala State saw the largest pro-Palestinian rally in the country since Hamas’ Al-Aqsa Flood Operation.
Organized by the Indian Union Muslim League, it was attended by human rights activists and others who chanted slogans in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Addressing the larg gathering, president of the Indian Union Muslim League Sayyid Sadiq Ali Shihab Thangal said Israel is the largest terrorist entity in the world.
He criticized the New Delhi government for trying to portray the Zionist regime as blameless.
Those who rallied in Jordan’s cities, including in capital Amman, called on the government to sever ties with the occupation regime.
They also urged the closure of the Israeli embassy in Amman and the termination of a peace treaty signed with the Tel Aviv regime.
Thousands of Yemenis also demonstrated in the capital Sana’a after Friday prayers to denounce the Zionist regime’s massacre of the people of Gaza.
They carried Palestinian flags and chanted slogans in support of liberation of Palestine.
They also condemned the US and the West for their support for the Israeli crimes.
Cities and towns in Iraq, Indonesia, Egypt, and Thailand were also scenes of gatherings and rallies in support of oppressed Palestinians.
The Zionist regime has been waging a relentless war against Gaza since October 7, when Hamas and its fellow Gaza-based resistance movement of the Islamic Jihad launched their biggest operation against the occupying entity in years.
The surprise Palestinian offensive, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, came in response to the Israeli regime’s intensified crimes against the Palestinian people.
Israel then launched its brutal aggression on the Gaza Strip. The death toll in Gaza has reached over 7,400 with more than 20,500 wounded.
Tel Aviv has, meanwhile, been threatening to launch a ground invasion against the coastal territory.
